At least once a week I get a request to look at a Flash website to see what can be done to get the site ranked in the search engines. I dread the review knowing that what I find will probably be the same ole same ole. The sites are either all on one page, have flash for navigation or the text is embedded in to the flash.
In the past this created a huge problem for the crawlers as they had great difficulty indexing flash websites. Although Google can now index some flash there are still difficulties with crawling the content.

I’m not a big fan of flash and I tell everyone that asks me about a flash site to stay away. I’m a firm believer in Wordpress, especially for a new website. 10 times the bang for 100 times less money. Not to mention the ease of use.
